Ali Ahmadov commented on decision of National Council on holding protest without permission

Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan and Executive Secretary of the New Azerbaijan Party Ali Ahmadov has commented on the decision of the National Council on the unpermitted picket, planned to be held on October 8 in front of the administrative building of the Baku city Executive Power, APA reports.

Executive Secretary of the New Azerbaijan Party noted that a place had been allocated for them in Lokbatan Settlement of Garadag district of Baku: “What is not permitted, it is not allowed to do. Lokbatan is within Baku territory. Probably, they know it. They just wanted to hold the protest in crowded places, so to show they had large social base. The best place for holding a protest may be a stadium. They can invite all their supporters to the stadium, located in Lokbatan and hold a protest. They should not make an excuse that Lokbatan is away. I do not consider Lokbatan is away. I want to stress specially that we have held protests in that stadium as NAP supporters in the past.”
