Clause made by Azerbaijan regarding Armenia when signing international documents changed

A joint online meeting of the Committee on Legal Policy and State Building and the Committee on International Relations and Interparliamentary Relations was held in the Azerbaijani Parliament today, Press and Public Relations Department of the Milli Majlis told APA.

First Deputy Speaker of the Milli Majlis, Chairman of the Committee on Legal Policy and State Building Ali Huseynli said that the Azerbaijani side joins the document with a certain clause.

Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Legal Policy and State Building, emphasizing the political, legal and historical significance of Azerbaijan’s putting forward the fact on the occupation of our territories by Armenia as a special clause when signing international documents, noted that the currently presented clause is not related to the issue of territorial integrity, but to the normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

Chairman of the Committee on International Relations and Interparliamentary Relations Samad Seyidov said that one of the bills on the agenda envisages the ratification of two international documents, including an agreement and a protocol, and the abolition of law.
