Russian producer of alcoholic drinks Tatspirtprom JSC will launch an alcoholic drinks filling plant in Azerbaijan with its local distributor Carchioglu Group recently, said Tatspirtprom’s General Director Irek Minnakhmetov, APA-Economics reports citing Russian media.

According to him, the institution aims at possessing 20% of the local market with annual production power of 5.5 mln. decalitre in coming 2-3 years and these plans can only been interfered by fake products’ great share in the market.

Stagnation in Russia’s alcoholic drinks market makes producers look for expansion points in neighboring countries. It is the first object of Tatspirtprom, situated abroad and its management will be executed by RusAzeri Spirits LLC (sides take part with 50-50 shares).

I. Minnakhmetov also noted that 190 thousand decalitre alcoholic drinks are planned to be produced primarily in the new plant, 18 thousand decalitres of them will fall in the share of brands of Tatspirtprom. The indicator is expected to be risen up to 400 thousand decalitres. The first product will be released recently in the plant.
