“Application of the vaccine passport against the new kind of coronavirus (COVID-19) should not cause discrimination against residents of other countries facing vaccine shortages or using different types of vaccines”, said WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus at the briefing held in the Geneva, APA reports citing TASS.

He noted that some countries and regions have started the application of the vaccine certificate regarding the COVID-19: “I would like to emphasize that it is very important that this does not lead to discrimination against unvaccinated or people who do not have a certain type of vaccine, and countries”.
