Azerbaijan sees 2.7 times decline in USD transactions

APA reports according to the statistics of the Central Bank, as of December 1, the volume of currency transactions in USD decreased by 2.67 times to $5,309,534,800 from $14,198,963,100 in 2015.

During the foreign currency transactions, $2,867,308,000 were sold in January-November, down 3.81 times compared to the same period of last year. In the eleven months of this year, $2,442,226,800 was bought. This figure is 25.63% less than to the same period of last year.

In the reporting period, the currency transactions in Euro declined 1.52 times to € 817,537,700 from €1,245,476,300 in 2015.

Foreign exchange cash in the amount of €537,528,200 were sold in eleven months of this year, down 1.88 times compared to the same period of last year. In January-November, €280,009,500 was bought. This figure is 19.4% more than the same period of last year.
