“Latvia and Azerbaijan have friendly and constructive relations”, the new ambassador of Latvia to Azerbaijan Dainis Garančs said, APA reports.
He said that his aim is to widen and support existing relations between two countries.
Note that President Egils Levits presented credentials to Dainis Garančs in the special ceremony held in Riga palace the previous day. He has worked in Latvian embassies in Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Poland, Kazakhstan, and Sweden previously. Dainis Garančs knows English, Russian, French and Polish languages.
