“I have impressed with this visit. Actually, it is not the first time that I visit Karabakh, I have visited most parts of the liberated lands. However, of course, it is my first visit to this area-Sugovushan,” said the Palestinian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Nasir Abdul Karim, APA reports.
“I am as impressed as I was on my other visits. The determination and speed of the Azerbaijani people and government in reconstruction and construction works in Karabakh is impressive. This shows the industry potential of the region, and reflects the vision of the Azerbaijani government. All of these give me a feeling of optimism. This shows transition from an era of war to an era of peace. Development, construction continues. Azerbaijanis deserve to live in peace.
I saw the destruction of holy places and of course, my opinion is that holy places belonging to any religious beliefs should not be destroyed,” the ambassador noted.
