Putin briefed Macron on the implementation of trilateral agreements on Karabakh

Russian and French Presidents Vladimir Putin and Emmanuel Macron had a telephone conversation, APA's Moscow correspondent reports quoting the Kremlin press service.

The cooperation between Russia and France in international issues was discussed in detail during the telephone conversation initiated by the French side.

Special attention was paid to the issues of stability and security on the European continent. The conflict in southeastern Ukraine, the Libyan conflict and the situation around Karabakh were discussed.

Putin briefed his French counterpart on the implementation of the trilateral agreements on Karabakh dated November 10, 2020 and January 11, 2021.

The Russian President stressed the need for closer involvement of European partners, especially France, in solving the humanitarian problems of the population affected by military operations in the region.
