Azerbaijani MES: Search and rescue operation continue in house where explosion took place in Khirdalan

Azerbaijani Ministry of Emergency Situations has disclosed the latest situation on explosion took place in Khirdalan, APA reports citing the website of the Ministry.

Search and rescue operations are underway by the rescue forces of the MES in the two storey individual residential house which collapsed as a result of an explosion, located in Absheron region, Khirdalan city.

As reported, as a result of operative intervention and professional activity of the rescuers of the MES, 6 citizens were rescued from the rubble, the body of 1 person was removed and handed over to the relevant authorities.

In general, 228 personnel from the Ministry's Special Risk Rescue Service, 19 equipment and 4 specially trained dogs, 20 personnel from State Fire Protection Service and 3 equipments were involved in the operation.

Currently, search and rescue operation is underway.
