Ambassador: Trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Mexico increases by 9 times

Trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Mexica has increased from USD 2.4 mln. to USD 22 mln. in recent four years, Ambassador of Mexico Rodrigo Labardini to Azerbaijan told APA- Economics.

According to him, this indicator reached its highest level and became USD 26 mln last year.

"Bilateral relations between Mexico and Azerbaijan develop and trade relations obvious example for it. Mexican Embassy to Azerbaijan started its function since 2014 and from that time trade relations between countries have increased by 9 times. Relations on the tourism sphere develop as well. Thus, the number of Mexican tourists came to Baku in 2018 increased by 9%, while the number of Azerbaijanis visiting Mexico rose by 19%," said Mr Labardini.
