The U.S. will not withdraw troops from the Syrian city of Manbij, announced General Joseph Votel, the commander of the U.S. Central Command, which coordinates anti-Daesh operations in Iraq and Syria, APA reported citing CNN.

Earlier, the Turkish government had called on the U.S. to withdraw its troops from Manbij.
