“Turkey-US relations are based on mutual interests and common values,” said Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlut Cavusoglu in his interview to “Kuresel Medya” magazine, APA reports citing Anadolu Agency.

He noted that the US by remaining committed to its traditional neutral position can play a constructive role in Eastern Mediterranean and other regional issues.

According to Turkish FM, the new administration of the USA should take immediate actions regarding terrorist organizations such as FETO and YPG.

“In order to control issues damaging relations of two countries, I look forward to cooperating with Joe Biden's candidate for secretary of state, Antony  Blinken and his team,” stressed Cavusoglu.
