The relationship between China and Russia is not a Cold War-era alliance. This was reported on March 30 by the Chinese Ministry of Defense, APA reports citing Oopstop.

“The Sino-Russian relationship is not a military political alliance of the Cold War era, it transcends this model of relations between states”— said in a message published on the social network WeChat.

The ministry clarified that relations between Moscow and Beijing are getting stronger “day by day”.

The Ministry of Defense noted that the People’s Liberation Army of China and the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation will regularly conduct joint patrols at sea and in the air.

On the eve of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin said that Moscow and Beijing have identified eight major areas of bilateral cooperation. According to him, last week, together with colleagues from China, the most important areas of cooperation were identified.
