1200 people arrested during the protests were released after the order of the head of Gholam-Hossein Mohseni Ejei, said the spokesman of the Judiciary Massoud Setayeshi, APA's Tehran bureau reports.
He said that more than 200 people died during the protests.
Setayishi also said that five people were sentenced to death in the case of Basij member Ruhullah Ajimyan, who was killed during the protests.
According to him, a long-term arrest warrant was issued for 11 more people in this case.
There are teenagers among the sentenced.
