“Azerbaijan ended the occupation of its territories by defeating Armenia in the 44-day war. During this war, Turkey always stood with us,” said Azerbaijani Defence Minister Zakir Hasanov during his speech at the Turkish-Azerbaijani joint military training held in Kars, APA reports.
“The whole world has seen that our brotherhood is unbreakable. During the war, Turkey stood with us, providing moral and diplomatic support. Such an approach of Turkey gave a message to the world: “Turkey stands by Azerbaijan.” The whole world has once again seen that the Turkish-Azerbaijani unity and brotherhood are unbreakable and eternal. Turkey's standing by us made us even more proud and gave us strength. Using this strength, we liberated our territories from occupation. Azerbaijani people highly evaluated this. I extend my gratitude to Turkey for great support,” Defence Minister emphasized.
