Baku’s trade turnover increases by 3.4%

In January-October of this year, the volume of Baku’s trade turnover increased by 3.4% as compared with the same period of 2018 and amounted to AZN 16,929.3 mln., Baku Statistics Department told “APA-Economics”.

The value of the food products, beverages and tobacco goods sold at trade network has increased by 3.2% as compared with the corresponding period of the last year and amounted to AZN 7,748.2 mln., and the volume of the non-food products has increased by 3.9% and amounted to AZN 9,181.1 mln.

The report says 28.6% of consumer products were sold at the trade enterprises with a legal entity status, 48.1% - at the trade facilities owned by individual entrepreneurs, and 23.3% - at food markets of the capital city.
