Azerbaijan increases electricity production

According to the information on operative information on January-June of the year, electricity production in the Republic has been 2153,7 mln. kW/h, export 98.8 mln. kW/h, while import 9.3 mln. kW/h, Ministry of Energy told APA-Economics.

Electricity production has increased by 14.1 mln. kW/h, export by 61.5 mln. kW/h, while import decreased by 9.9 mln. kW/h in June in comparison with the relevant period of 2019.

According to the information, in January-June of the current year, electricity production has increased by 65.2 mln. kW/h in comparison with the corresponding period of the previous year and reached 12950.2 mln. kW/h.
