In 2019, industrial enterprises in Azerbaijan and individual entrepreneurs functioning in this area produced industrial products worth AZN46.7 bln. or 1.8% more industrial products as compared with 2018, the State Statistics Committee told "APA-Economics".
During the past period, the production of products in the non-oil-gas sector of the industry increased by 14.3%.
The report says 69.9% of the industrial products were produced in the mining and extractive sector, 25.2% - in the processing sector, 4.2% - in the electricity, gas and steam production, distribution and supply sector, and 0.7% - in water supply, waste cleaning and processing sector.
"In the mining and extractive sector, the oil production decreased by 3.3%, and the commercial gas production increased by 27.7%", the report says.
