In January-June of this year, 18,356.7 thousand tones of oil were transported through the main oil pipelines in Azerbaijan, which is 7% less in comparison to the relevant period of 2019, State Statistics Committee told APA-Economics.
According to the information, 80% of transportation has been carried out via Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil export pipeline and in January-June of the current year, 14,685.9 thousand tones of oil sent through this pipeline (8.1% decrease in comparison to January-June of 2019)
"During the period, 2,100.2 thousand tons of transit oil (9.3% decrease) was also transferred through BTC,” the information reads.
