Turkey increases import of Azerbaijani gas by 39%

In January-July of the current year, Turkey has imported 5,31 bln. cubic meters gas from Azerbaijan, which is 38,6% more in comparison to the same period of the previous year, APA reports citing Energy Market Regulatory Authority of Turkey.

Thus, Azerbaijan occupies second place in Turkey's total gas imports.

In January-July of the previous year, Turkey imported 3,83 bln. cubic meters gas from Azerbaijan.

Russia occupies the first place in gas import to Turkey. In January- July about 9,17 bln.cubic meters gas was exported from Russia to Turkey.

Iran ranked third, has transported 4,36 bln cubic meters gas to Turkey during the reporting period.

Note that, gas import of Turkey was 22,28 bln. cubic meters in the previous period.
