Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu - APA-Economics. Kazakhstan gives priority to restoration of export of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) through oil terminal in Batumi port, Azerbaijani Energy Minister Natig Aliyev said in his article published in Respublika newspaper.

“The sides decided to research how this port will be effective for export of liquefied gas. It’s known that 156,000 tonnes of Azerbaijani LPG were transported through Batumi terminal in 2010. This figure dropped up to 23,000 tonnes in 2014. LPG transportation was stopped in 2015. But Azerbaijan thinks Kazakhstan should benefit from Kulevi Black Sea terminal for transportation and storage of hydrocarbon reserves. This terminal plays a great role in transportation of oil to world market. Total capacity of the terminal makes up 348,000 tonnes and it transports crude oil, oil and gas and petro-chemical products of Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan and Russia”, the minister said.
