Azerbaijan ups limits of gas & electricity preferential consumption

The limit of preferential consumption of gas and electricity has been raised in Azerbaijan upon President Ilham Aliyev’s order, Azerbaijani Minister of Economy Shahin Mustafayev said at a briefing in Baku December 22, APA-Economics reported.

The limit of preferential consumption of gas in Azerbaijan has been raised from 1,500 cubic meters to 1,700 cubic meters per year.

In other words, the limit of preferential consumption of gas has remained 0.1 manat per cubic meter for consumers with an annual consumption of up to 1,700 cubic meters, and the price has become 0.2 manat for consumers with an annual consumption of over 1.700 cubic meters.

Mustafayev said the limit of preferential consumption of electricity has been raised from 250 kilowatt hour to 300 kilowatt hour per month.

In other words, the limit of preferential consumption of electricity has remained 0.07 manat for consumers with a monthly electricity consumption of up to 300 kilowatt hour, while the price has become 0.11 manat for consumers with a monthly electricity consumption of over 300 kilowatt hour.
