The dates of departure for and return from Saudi Arabia have been altered for Azerbaijani Hajj pilgrims.

Azerbaijani Hajj pilgrims will set off on August 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15 (instead of August 14, 15 and 16) and return home on September 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 (instead of September 1, 2 and 3), APA reports.

The flights will be operated by Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL).

Hajj pilgrimage this year comes to a total of $4,150. A total of 1,170 pilgrims will go from Azerbaijan this year. Unlike in previous years, the two types of service are no longer available. Due to the conflicts in the Middle East, Hajj pilgrimage is organized only by air. The official organizer of Hajj pilgrimage in Azerbaijan is the Caucasian Muslims Office.
