The colonel of Armenian armed forces has been arrested for bribery, APA reports citing Sputnik Armenia.
National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia has disseminated information regarding this.
It was noted that, the colonel has demanded 2 thousand dollars (975 thousand dram) from the mother of soldier D.G in ordert to transfer military serviceman to the another military unit on September 13, 2020. On November 7, the colonel demanded 2500 dollars (987,000 drams) from the soldier's parents through an intermediary in order not to send another conscript to a military unit fighting in Karabakh and he took 2 thousand dollars next day.
