Criminal fleeing from Georgia to Azerbaijan detained on border

10 criminals, including Azerbaijanis, have been detained in Georgia, said Mamuka Chelidze, Head of the Main Division of Fight against Organized Crimes of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Georgia in his briefing, APA’s local bureau reports.

He stated that one of the detainees was arrested while he was trying to enter Azerbaijan through Red Bridge crossing point.

According to him, the detainees had relations with thieves in law and misappropriation money through threat and blackmail in Marneuli and Dmanisi, as well as Batumi, Mestia, Rustavi, and Tbilisi, where Azerbaijanis compact live.

4 of them confessed their relations with the criminal world.
