Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has declared that he is ready to send peacekeeper forces to Donbass, APA reports citing RIA Novosti.

Lukashenko stated that he is ready to take control of the Ukraine-Russia border if the parties agree.

Belarusian leader noted that he has condemned the former Ukraine President Petro Poroshenko for not taking any steps preventing the war: “I said him that there is war in your country, but you do not do anything. You have to solve this problem.”

Minsk won’t make friends against Moscow, Belarusian President said.

"We held a referendum, where four-fifth of the population expressed support for good allied relations with Russia. This is why we have no intention to make friends against Russia. In fact, when we were going through tough times, only Russia and China offered us support," he pointed out.
