Several officials were interrogated in Armenia during the Second Karabakh War in connection with a criminal case initiated by a number of high-ranking officials for abusing their powers, said Armenian Investigative Committee, APA reports.

The administration did not disclose the names of the specifically interrogated persons.

At the same time, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, who is a witness in this criminal case, was interrogated.

Relatives of the soldiers who died in the 44-day war have repeatedly held protests in front of the building of the General Prosecutor's Office of Armenia. They demand that the case be handed over to the National Security Service.
