Putin: There can be no winners in nuclear war

Russian President Vladimir Putin underlined on Monday that there can never be winners in a nuclear war and warned that "it should never be unleashed.", APA reports citing Teletrader.

Addressing the Tenth Review Conference of the Parties to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, Putin stated that as a signatory state to the NPT, Russia continues to "consistently follow the letter and spirit of the Treaty."

Putin noted that in addition to this, Moscow's "obligations under bilateral agreements with the United States on the reduction and limitation of relevant weapons have also been fully fulfilled." The head of Russia further underscored that his country stands for "equal and indivisible security for all members of the world community."
