Russian President Vladimir Putin and the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev had made a phone conversation, APA’s Moscow correspondent reports citing the Kremlin Press Service.
During the phone conversation, some current issues of the bilateral agenda, including the trade and economic sphere, were discussed.
The mutual will to further strengthen the Russian-Uzbekistan strategic partnership and alliance was confirmed.
The Russian side said that it supports the efforts of the Uzbek leadership to stabilize the situation in Karakalpakstan.
