“Russian side has never been an obstacle for grain transport of Ukraine from Black sea ports and is not an obstacle,” said the official representative of Russian MFA Maria Zakharova at the briefing held today, APA’s Moscow correspondent reports.
Russian officials brought to attention that due to the high risk of landmines and fire, using ports is impossible: “All of these were established by the Kyiv regime. The Ukrainian government installed nearly 420 mines in the Black and Azov seas. Kyiv has blocked and detains 70 foreign ships from 16 countries.”
Zakharova also noted that Russia is ready to help transportation of grain from Ukraine with foreign ships.
