A rally named “We are together for Azerbaijan” held in Nicosia, the capital of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus has been held by the organization of Azerbaijan-Cyprus Friendship Society, and by the support of local non-governmental organizations, State Committee for Work with Diaspora told APA.
The chairman of Azerbaijan-Cyprus Friendship Society Orkhan Hasanoglu said that the purpose of holding this event is to convey Azerbaijan’s righteous voice and crimes committed by the occupier state of Armenia against innocent civilians to the world community. The head of the Diaspora also noted that as a diaspora organization in Northern Cyprus, it is nearly 10 years that they have been broadcasting Azerbaijani realities in local TV channels and occupation fact of our lands have been, publish numerous articles in the press regarding Azerbaijan.
The state anthems of Azerbaijan and Turkey have been voiced in the rally, dear memory of our martyrs has been commemorated.
