Fuad Muradov: "Intrigues being ended among our compatriots"

One of our major objectives is the unity of our compatriots living abroad, said Fuad Muradov, Chairman of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora, in an interview with APA.

I hope that as a journalist, a press agency, you also observe what has changed after my appointment as a chairman. Our compatriots become more active, they have the will to work together. Intrigues are being ended. Coordination Councils have been established.

Coming to the question on the disagreements among the diaspora organizations operating in CIS and European countries Fuad Muradov stated: “I can not say that there are serious disagreements, but there are just differences of opinion and it has an individual nature. It is natural. Everyone can not think the same way, and different points of view are normal. In accordance with the instructions of the head of state, our implemented works are already bearing fruit. It was continually stated that, as a State Committee, joint activities, coordinated initiatives, decisions made collectively will be preferred. So, the solidarity of our compatriots, joint activities are very important for us. It already has real results. Coordination Councils have been founded with the initiatives of our compatriots living in 27 countries of the world. Our compatriots discuss their joint projects in these councils, adopt their initiatives and offer by making a joint decision.”
