Our compatriots, who were in a difficult situation in Ukraine, were brought to their homeland, APA reports citing State Committee on Work with the Diaspora.
According to the information, 9 of our compatriots forced to leave the country due to the situation in Ukraine were brought to the Russian capital from the Kherson region, and from there, they were evacuated to Azerbaijan.
Two of those evacuated are Ukrainians, while seven are Azerbaijani citizens. They were sent from Moscow to Baku by plane.
The evacuation of our compatriots from the war zone and humanitarian crisis and their return to our country was carried out at the expense of the Azerbaijani state.
