Azerbaijan's Minister of Education: Tuition fees of more than  17,000 students from low-income families paid from the state budget

"In recent years, 24 specialized vocational training centers have been established," The Minister of Education Jeyhun Bayramov said, APA reports.

The minister of Education said that the construction of the Vocational Education Center in Baku was finished in September of the current year.

"The implementation of 4 projects has been started by the support of the EU. The measures continue in the field of expanding the coverage of vocational education," Mr Bayramov said.

According to the Minister, the cost of the new funding mechanism in universities has increased by 30%: "Tuition fees of more than  17,000 students from low-income families paid from the state budget"
