Chairman of Azerbaijani CEC: “Kurdamir Constituency Election Commission #57 can be dissolved”

Appeal of candidate Kamal Salimov, registered from the Kurdamir Constituency Election Commission #57 on the parliamentary elections has been reviewed at the meeting of the Central Election Commission (CEC) today, APA reports.

CEC member Gabil Orujov has released information in this regard.

G. Orujov stated that candidate’s appeal has not been reviewed at the Constituency Election Commission #57, contrary to the legislation.

That is why the CEC decided to send the appeal to the Constituency Election Commission in relevant form.

G. Orujov has also considered CEC’s assessment review of the candidate’s appeal by the Constituency Election Commission in the future necessary.

CEC Chairman Mazahir Panahov considered such a case unacceptable for the Constituency Election Commission and said the Constituency Election Commission may be dissolved in the future.
