Changes made to duties of temporary commandants in liberated territories of Azerbaijan

President Ilham Aliyev signed a Decree on amendments to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan No. 1170 dated October 29, 2020 “On the Organization of Temporary Special Management in the Liberated Territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan”, APA reports.

According to the Decree, the amendments were made to the duties of temporary commandants in the territories where they operate.

Thus, the implementation of other events defined by the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On martial law” in order to ensure martial law related to the abolition of martial law was removed from the duties of the temporary commandants in the territories where operate.
