Deadline for political parties to file annual financial report to CEC expires tomorrow

The deadline for political parties to submit their financial reports for 2020 to the Central Election Commission (CEC) will expire on April 1, APA reports.

7 out of the 62 political parties registered in the state have filed a financial statement to the CEC until now.

Those are the New Azerbaijan Party (NAP), “Azerbaijani Fighters” Party, Azerbaijan People's Democratic Party, the Alliance Party for the Sake of Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan Liberal Party, Azerbaijan Republicans Party, and National Unity Party. According to the law, political parties should submit their annual financial reports together with the auditor's report to the CEC no later than April 1.

Note that CEC should inform the Ministry of Justice about the political parties that do not submit their annual financial statements together with the auditor's report until April 1.
