Jeyhun Bayramov: "Although ceasefire had to be provided, Armenia attempted for attack operations and repulsed"

"Servicemen and civilians were killed during operations, conducted within 10 days. At the same time, there are captured servicemen. Many appeals were received from international organizations, several states for a humanitarian ceasefire", said Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov at a briefing today, APA reports.

J. Bayramov noted that during the past days, Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke with a special initiative, agreements have been reached with the Azerbaijani President and Armenian Prime Minister: "Relevant document was signed on the basis of it in Moscow yesterday. Removal of bodies of dead servicemen, conduction of exchange of servicemen, and other detained persons are considered. It is a complex, specific operation and the International Committee of the Red Cross is responsible for coordinating this work. The condition for start of these operations has not been provided yet, as Armenia showed its provocative feature for the next time. The ceasefire had to be provided at 12:00 a.m today, but Armenia tried to conduct attack operations and repulsed."
