“Democratic election is an exam for each country. I congratulate Azerbaijan for becoming successful in this exam,” head of the Lithuanian-Azerbaijani Interparliamentary Friendship Group, deputy Valerijus Simulik who observed snap parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan stated.

“We were confident that the elections in Baku would be held in normal conditions. That is why we asked them to take us to the regions. We wanted to get acquainted with the process of preparation for the elections in the regions. We visited Jojug Marjanli, as well as we observed the process of preparation for the elections in other villages. We visited 15 polling stations of 3 constituencies in Baku at Voting Day. We talked with voters, observers. The high number of candidates for deputy also created a competitive environment. The elections were held in a transparent condition, voters had a wide choice. They voted for the people they wanted. It was the will of the people and we respect it,” Lithuanian observer stated.
