The April 11 presidential election has reflected the will of the Azerbaijani people, Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev said during his inauguration ceremony on April 18, APA reports.
“The Azerbaijani people highly appreciated the work done, voted for the work done, for the development, progress, security and our future development,” he said.
The presidential election was fair and transparent, President Aliyev stressed.
“The results of the pre-election polls conducted by international and local organizations, as well as the results of the exit polls held by international and local organizations overlap with the official results of the election. This once again shows that the election reflects our people’s will, their opinion,” he added.
