During February of this year, SOCAR Energy Turkey will supply daily 4 mln. cubic metres of gas to Turkey’s gas distribution network. Gas supply will be provided from Turkgozu entrance point, APA-Economics reports citing Anadolu Agency.
From January 20, Iran suspended gas transportation to Turkey due to technical problems, moreover with a sharp deterioration of weather condition the gas consumption of the population reached a record level.
On January 26, SOCAR Energy Turkey received from the Ministry of Energy to import spot gas. As a result, additional daily 4 mln. cubic meters of gas will be supplied to Turkey from pipelines in February.
