"More than 21% of individual entrepreneurs are women," said Chairman of the Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) Orkhan Mammadov during his speech at the 5th forum entitled "New opportunities on the horizon: Green light for women entrepreneurs," APA-Economics reports.
According to him, the support of the SMBDA is helped to benefit from support mechanisms such as internal market research and start-ups to increase the number of female entrepreneurs.
"An opportunity has been created for female entrepreneurs to have access to preferential financial resources, and about 4 thousand female entrepreneurs have benefited from support measures by the SME. With the support provided by the agency, five female entrepreneurs were granted grants, and 9 female entrepreneurs received certificates from income for innovation, " he said.
