Positive balance recorded in Azerbaijan-Turkey trade turnover

In January-June of this year, Azerbaijan-Turkey trade turnover has been in the amount of USD 1 911,2 million, which is 35.2% more than in the same period of last year, APA-Economics reports citing State Customs Committee.

According to the information, in the reporting period, the volume of export from Azerbaijan to Turkey was USD 1 233.8 million, while import was USD 677.4 million. Thus, USD 556.4 million positive balance has occurred in Azerbaijan-Turkey trade turnover, however a negative balance in the amount of USD 109 mln. was recorded in Azerbaijan-Turkey trade turnover in the first half of 2018.

In the reporting period, the export has increased by 89.1%, while the import decreased by 11% in comparison with the first half of the previous year.
