“Statement of Armenian Health Minister Arsen Torosyan is lacking of arguments. His thoughts are unfounded and raise a number of questions,” said Ekaterine Tikaradze Minister of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labour, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia, APA’s Georgian bureau reports.
She noted that she plans to contact her Armenian counterpart.
“We often made comparisons and held consultations on the situation in our countries through phone conversations since the moment pandemic broke out. If he had any question he could use communication method and we also would respond to all of his questions. What my colleague based on while making this statement raise some doubts and questions. We plan to contact him to learn the details,” Ekaterine Tikaradze stated.

Note that in his speech two days ago, A. Torosyan voiced his doubts about the coronavirus data of Georgia, adding that conducted tests were quick tests and their quality was questionable. He claimed that citizens coming from Gerogia to Armenia, particularly in truck drivers, in many cases coronavirus was diagnosed. The statement of the Armenian minister was protested in Georgia and he was demanded to apologize.
