The Group of Seven (G7) member countries stated on Saturday that they will not recognize border changes in Ukraine, according to the document released after the G7 meeting in Germany, APA reports citing Teletrader.
The foreign ministers of the G7 countries reiterated their support to Kiev, announcing more weapons supply to the country "as long as it is necessary." The ministers agreed that the Ukrainian crisis has "worsened the prospects for the development of the global economy, leading to a strong increase in food, fuel and energy prices."
The G7 called on Moscow to end the "blockade of grain exports" from Ukraine, noting that 43 million people are one step away from hunger. Earlier, Russia warned that sanctions imposed against its economy could lead to a new monetary crisis in countries around the world.
