The number of new car registrations in Germany in 2021 dropped to the lowest level since the country's reunification in 1990, APA reports citing Teletrader.
According to the country's car authority KBA, 2.6 million new vehicles were registered in Germany last year, marking a 10.1% decline from 2020.
In December 2021, passenger car registrations plummeted 26.9% year on year to 227,630 units.
