Greece protested on Friday Iran's seizure of two of its tankers in the Persian Gulf, APA reports citing Tele Trader.
Athens called the move a "violent seizure" and an act of "piracy" and summoned the Iranian ambassador to Greece.
Earlier, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) confirmed reports it seized two Greek vessels over "violations that were committed." The move came a day after Greece seized an Iranian tanker and allowed the United States to seize the oil found onboard the vessel.
