The issue of Sweden's accession to NATO spoiled relations with Türkiye, Swedish Foreign Minister Tobias Billström said in an interview with Swedish Radio, APA reports.
"Currently, the relations between the two countries are cold. This is natural. But it seems to me that all attention should be focused on the future," said the head of MFA.
Billström said that the deterioration of relations with Türkiye is not an obstacle for Sweden's NATO membership.
According to him, in the process of joining NATO, the way is for Sweden to fulfill part of the agreements, part of which has been implemented.
