Turkish President: "We didn't do it even though everyone targeting Russia"

The place and position of Turkiye in global politics are quite different, said Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Turkish President in a meeting with young people in Mugla, APA's Istanbul correspondent reports.

Speaking about his country's role in the Russia-Ukraine war, Erdogan stated that Turkiye is the country that solved the Black Sea grain corridor problem.

"However, our work is not yet finished. We didn't do it even though everyone targeted Russia. On the contrary, we have maintained our relations with Mr. Putin. He even came up with a wonderful proposal: "We will transform the grain you send us for free into flour in our factories and distribute it to poor African countries as you wish," we said," said Erdogan.

According to him, 44% of the products have been sent to Europe and 14% to Africa.
