"There are very sensitive points in the Russia-Ukraine issue. For example, the occupied territories are Ukrainian lands," said the Foreign Minister of Turkiye Mevlut Cavusoglu during the press conference within the framework of his visit to Japan, APA's Istanbul bureau reports.
He noted that the parties do not want to sit at the table with a weak position, but they need to be convinced that there will be no winner of the war.
"It should be a just peace because, for example, the Ukrainian lands have been occupied. Of course, it is necessary to convince the actors who want the continuation of the war. As Turkiye, we have not lost hope, we continue our efforts to bring the two leaders together, we want a decision to be made at the level of the leaders," he said.
